Signed Hizen ju Tadayoshi, Shinto

The blade with one mekugi-ana, midare hamon, fully bound tsuka with iron Higo fuchi and kabuto-gane decorated in gold with leaves and scrolls, the menuki in the form of ears of corn in shakudo and gold, and circular iron sukashi tsuba pierced with interlacing circles, in its black ishime saya with iron mounts including koi-guchi, kurikata and kojiri, and complete with ribbed iron kodzuka decorated with foliage in silver
