the Daler spiral-bound sketch book with yellow front cover with lyrics for Humble Pie tracks and song titles/lyrics by other artists, including Eddie Cochran, in various pens, the titled lyrics comprising 'The Grollie Song', 'Strange Days', 'Big Black Dog', 'Redneck Jump', Beckton Dumps', '79th Street Boat Basin Blues', 'Song For Jenny', 'Road To Ride' and 'Sour Grain', also several untitled lyrics, set lists/album running orders and other notes including a list headed American Tour Sept. 70, with statement of provenance

'Big Black Dog' and 'Strange Days' were released as a single by Humble Pie in 1970. 'Redneck Jump', 'Song For Jenny' and 'Sour Grain' appeared on the band's 1971 album, 'Rock On'. 'Beckton Dumps' was on the band's album 'Eat It', in 1973.
Provenance: Chrissie Shrimpton, a friend of Steve Marriott's in the 1960s.
The vendor has confirmed that all proceeds from the sale of this lot will be donated to the charity, Changing Faces.
