Footnotes
The vendor of this lot was Mitch Mitchell's girlfriend at the time and attended many of the Experience's concerts and recording sessions. She recalls that Jimi had bought this scarf on a recent trip to Paris. Whilst she and the band were backstage at Woburn, she commented on how much she liked the scarf he was wearing, upon which Jimi tore it in half and gave her this portion of it, putting the other half back on.
