Footnotes

This was made for John by the Skin Room, a business in Ealing, West London, started in the late 1960s by Connie and Ken Wyatt. Their customers came to include various rock stars of the day, John, Keith Moon and Roger Daltrey amongst them. The jacket was repaired on many occasions by the shop and, eventually, it was given by John to Connie's brother.
