designed by Academy Award® winning designer Vittorio Nino Novarese, depicting the life of Joseph Balsamo also known as 'Count Cagliostro', the film starred and was co-directed by Orson Welles, 78¾ x 86½ inches (200x220cm)

The film is based on the true life of Giuseppe [Joseph] Balsamo, his alias 'Count Alessandro di Cagliostro', played by Orson Welles. The set design portrays scenes from Cagliostro's illustrious and mysterious life in eighteen century France.
