Footnotes
In this special edition of the programme, Edmund Blackadder intends to give this portrait to Queenie as a present but she abolishes Christmas. Frustrated and annoyed, Blackadder then punches through the canvas and hits the unfortunate Baldrick who is holding the portrait.
The vendor was a member of a small audience at some retakes for the show at BBC TV's Shepherds Bush studios. It was given to him by Richard Curtis.
