A late 19th century carved Carrara marble chimneypiece

in the George III style,
the moulded inverted breakfront shelf frieze with beaded border above an acorn and dentil cornice, the frieze centred by a tablet carved with an acanthus and pendant husk draped urn flanked pendant husk carved verticals, the block headers carved with flambeau urns, the jambs with boldly carved pendant husk corbels above acanthus and oak leaf terminals, on block feet,the inner slip with guilloche border decoration, with restorations, the block feet probably reduced in height, 146cm high, 196cm wide, 33cm deep overall, the inner aperture, 102cm high x 111cm wide
