Footnotes
This jump hour watch displays the hour via a small disc that rotates beneath the aperture at 12. Each time the minute hand passes 12, the disc 'jumps' to the consequent hour.
In celebration of the company's 150th anniversary, 450 examples of the Patek Philippe reference 3969 were made in 1989. This jump hour reference is an homage to the original tonneau-shaped 1920s jump hour wristwatch.
