Footnotes
On July 21st, 1960, Neil Armstrong steeped onto the Moon at 2:56 GMT, soon joined by Buzz Aldrin wearing an Omega Speedmaster Professional. This series of 7,969 watches was produced to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the first lunar landing.
Hesalite, the very same shatter-proof acrylic crystal found on the original Moon Watch is used on these watches due to its shatter proof and hard properties. A small, distinctive OMEGA logo has been etched inside the Hesalite crystal.
