Footnotes
The watch features the national emblem of Oman, the Khanjar dagger in a sheath superimposed upon two crossed swords, to the upper half of the dial. The owner worked in Oman from 1981 to 1984, and designed and built villas for government ministers and the Royal family. On completion of projects it was customary to receive a gift.
The Calibre 12P1 movement was one of the slimmest 'ultra-thin' movements introduced by Piaget in 1957 with the 24ct micro rotor.
