Henry Hurt, London. A fine mid 18th century 22ct gold consular case key wind pocket watch
London Hallmark for 1744
Gilt full plate verge movement with pierced and engraved balance cock, diamond end stone, silver regulation, squared baluster pillars, gold dial with Roman hour chapter and outer five minute divisions, signed scrolled centre, steel hands, polished gold case with JB casemaker's mark, possibly for John Birdwhissel, engraved monogrammed back, dial and movement signed 47mm.
