Edouard Beguelin, Locle. A fine late 19th century 14ct gold open face keyless wind split seconds chronograph pocket watch
Case No.64755, Movement No.10281, Circa 1885
Jewelled Swiss chronograph lever escapement with cut and compensated bi-metallic balance, enamel dial with black Arabic numerals and outer minute track, outer 1/5th second divisions and outer Arabic minute markers in red, subsidiary seconds dial at 6, blued steel spade hands, polished round hinged case with gold cuvette, chronograph activation via the stem with split seconds button set into the band at 11, dial and movement signed 50mm.
