Movement No.50449, London Hallmark for 1899
Gilt 3/4 plate English lever movement, bi-metallic cut and compensated balance, two polished steel hammers striking on a gong, white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, outer 1/5th second markers with Arabic five minute divisions, blued steel spade hands and centre chronograph hand, subsidiary dials at 6 and 12 for running seconds and 60 minute recording, polished hinged case with plain cuvette, repeat slide and chronograph button set in the band, case stamped F.T, for Frederick Thoms, dial and movement signed 56mm.
