Richard Blundell. A fine early 18th century silver pair case verge pocket watch
Circa 1710
Gilt full plate fusee verge movement with pierced and engraved winged balance cock, silver regulation, pierced hybrid pillars, silver champlevé dial with black Roman chapter and outer Arabic five minute numerals, pierced and engraved central signature with lion and unicorn motif, gilt beetle and poker hands, polished silver inner and outer cases with part legible casemaker's mark BE possibly for William Bertram, dial and movement signed 57mm.
