Brass full plate fusee verge movement with pierced and engraved winged balance cock, large steel 3-arm balance, silver regulation, squared baluster pillars, gold dial with Roman chapter and outer Arabic divisions, signed centre, blued steel beetle and poker hands, gold inner case with IW casemaker's mark, possibly for John Ward, together with associated decorative winding key, dial and movement signed 49mm.

Footnotes
Andrew Dunlop is recorded as working between 1701 and 1732. He was the maker in 1716 of the turret clock for Hawkley House, Blackwater, and is also known as a maker of watches and long-case clocks. Conyers Dunlop was apprenticed to him in 1725.
