Steven Hoogendyk, Rotterdam. A fine early 18th century silver pair case calendar pocket watch
Circa 1725
Gilt full plate movement with pierced and engraved balance bridge, large silver regulation, aperture in the balance foot for the signature, silver champlevé dial with arcaded Roman chapter and outer Arabic five minute markers, signed centre with brass calendar aperture flanked by the maker's signature, two seated women, one with a sword, one with a candle, holding a crown over the letter G, polished silver inner case with SS casemaker's mark, plain polished outer, dial and movement signed 57mm.
