Daniel and Thomas Grignon. A mid 18th century silver and leather pair case pocket watch
No.1333, London Hallmark for 1757
Finely engraved gilt brass fusee movement with cylinder escapement, silver regulation, pierced and engraved balance cock with diamond end stone, squared baluster pillars, signed cap, later enamel dial with Roman numerals, fine blued steel hands, polished inner hinged case, leather covered outer with steel pin-work monogram and edges, movement signed 50mm.
