Jewelled duplex escapement with hanging barrel, Geneva stop-work and 3-arm balance, pull-wind system, engine turned champagne dial with black Roman numerals and outer five minute divisions, blued steel Breguet and fleur-de-lys hands, round hinged case with engine turning to the case back and band, case stamped 'LC' for Louis Comptesse, movement signed Viner & Co., 235 Regent Street & Royal Exchange, London, dial and movement signed 38mm.

The cap atop the pendant attaches to a long stem which winds the movement via a crank and ratchet system when one pulls then depresses the cap.
