Gilt full plate movement with finely pierced and engraved balance cock and unusual platform, blued steel regulation, painted enamel dial depicting English soldiers in front of a fort and with a warship in the background, moving 'changing of the guard' automaton in the doorway of the fort, polished inner and outer cases, movement signed 51mm.
