Edward, Prince of Wales (1841-1910), later Edward VII (1901-1910), in court dress with blue sash and breast star of the Order of the Garter.
Painted on ivory over a photographic base, gold frame surmounted with the heraldic badge of the Prince of Wales's feathers set with simulated gems and engraved ICH DIEN (I serve).
