Three Cycladic marble heads
Circa 2600-2200 B.C.
One small example of the Spedos Variety, the u-shaped head with a slight backward tilt and wedge-shaped nose, 1½in (3.7cm) high; a larger Spedos example set on a long neck, 2 3/8in (3.7cm) high; and a small head of Chalandriani Variety with a triangular head and flaring neck, 1 5/8in (4.1cm) high, mounted (3)
