An Etruscan bronze stand
Circa 4th Century B.C.
Possibly for a brazier, of cylindrical form, the walls decorated with encircling ridges alternating with encircling incised bands, with a rounded rim and concave top decorated with wheel cut concentric rings, the twin u-shaped handles with curving bird head terminals hooked through vertical loops, set on three animal paw feet, each surmounted with a swan with outstretched wings, 11¼in (28.5cm) high
