Apulia, circa 320-310 B.C.
Depicting a winged Eros seated on rocks holding a casket in his right hand with two sashes below, the shoulder with a profile head of winged Nike, a draped winged Nike flying at the mouth, large palmettes on the reverse, 17½in (44.5cm) high

Trendall to a painter associated with the Painter of the Macinagrossa Stand and the Samarcande Group.
