Circa 4th-6th Century A.D.
Of rectangular form, carved in sunken relief with a central cross motif within a circle, set within a diamond, the Greek words for 'light' and 'life' inscribed in vertical columns between the arms of the cross, and again in the bottom left and right corners of the panel, here in an intersecting cruciform pattern sharing the second letter 'Omega', two crosses in the upper left and right corners of the panel, 20in x 34in (50.8cm x 86.4cm), mounted
