A Roman enamelled clear glass fragment
Circa 3rd-4th Century A.D.
From a shallow bowl, decorated on the exterior with a sheep, the head turned backwards facing a tree or bush, a cloud with small stars and the moon above, possibly from a scene with Christ as the Good Shepherd, the remains of a Greek inscription in a blue band outlined in red with the letter 'EN' and 'TW', 4in (10cm) long
