A Luristan bronze quiver fragment
Iran, circa 10th-8th Century B.C.
The body of cylindrical shape, tapering towards the bottom, fixed to a ring with four rivets with dome-shaped terminals and a loop for attachment to the now-missing strap, on the front three rectangular plaques fixed with rivets, decorated in raised relief with scenes of animals fighting and rosettes in the field, 8¼in (21cm) high
