A ruby and diamond cocktail ring, 1950s

Of architectural design, the old brilliant-cut diamond mounted within a ruby-set bombé surround, with assymetrical shoulders and hammered gold mount, mounted in 18 carat yellow gold, gross weight 17.3 grams, diamond approximately 0.85 carat, rubies approximately 1.50 carats total, ring size H½
