A Meissen nodding figure of a Chinese boy, circa 1755

Probably modelled by J.J. Kaendler, marching with the left knee upraised, wearing a leaf hat, purple-lined green cloak, white tunic with purple and gilt flowers and yellow shoes, the base applied with leaves and flowers, 23cm high, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue to rear of base (minor restoration) (2)
