A Meissen Hausmaler teabowl and saucer, the porcelain circa 1725, the decoration mid 18th century

The reverse of the saucer and outside of the cup applied with leafy flowering branches, painted in the workshop of F.F. Mayer of Pressnitz, the saucer with a female Saint seated on a throne holding a cross and a bible inscribed 'Fides Deus', the inside of the cup with an amorous couple, gilt scrollwork borders to the rims, the teabowl: 4.5cm high; the saucer: 12.5cm diam., crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue, incised / inside footrims (2)
