A rare Meissen teabowl and saucer, circa 1730

Painted in the manner of J.E. Stadler with chinoiserie vignettes, depicting a child and an adult on the saucer, and two figures on the teabowl, each vignette with indianische Blumen and a bird in flight, the rims with iron-red trellis bands reserved with purple flower heads, the teabowl: 4.5cm high; the saucer: 11.9cm diam., crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue (2)
