4to (200 x 145 mm). [24], 202 pp. Title and dedication in typographical border. Period limp vellum, spine lettered in manuscript. Lacking frontispiece, first few leaves frayed at upper corner, few spots and tiny wormholes, some discoloration and wear to binding, ties lacking.
Provenance: Estelle Doheny (morocco bookplate, her sale, Christie's New York, Feb 1, 1988, lot 198).

Second edition, an abridgement of the first of 1645. Medina 4534; Palau 44871; Sabin 10954.
