Now enlarged and amplified ... by John Minsheu [bound with] A Spanish Grammar ... by Richard Percivale ... augmented and increased ... by John Minsheu. London: Edm. Bollifant, 1599.
2 volumes in 1. Folio (254 x 171 mm). A2 A-Kk6. i4 b-h6 2[i]2 k-o6 p4. Woodcut vignette on titles, 3 woodcut initials, tailpiece. 18th-century calf, manuscript title to spine, covers with borders and floral corner devices in blind. Soiling to first title, tear to top edge of one leaf touching text, small scuffs to upper cover.

First editions of one of the earliest Spanish-English dictionaries and grammars, which Minsheu based on Perceval's Bibliotheca Hispanica of 1591. The two works were issued together; within the Grammar is a section of Pleasant and Delightfull Dialogues with a separate title page. STC (2nd ed) 19620, 19622.
