London: Printed for the Editor; and sold by W. Nicoll, et al., 1776. 4to (225 x 180 mm). vii, [1 blank], 172, [3] pp. Half-title. Quadruple ruled columns. Period half calf over marbled boards, spine in compartments with raised bands, red morocco lettering-piece. One gathering spotted, light scuffs to board edges, about fine.

Unusual and attractive commercial dictionary with many nautical terms "interspersed with phrases peculiar to trade and commerce in general." The author identifies himself as a notary public on the title.
