VENICE IMPRINTS—16TH CENTURY.

1. PEROTTUS, NICHOLAUS, et al. In hoc volumine habentur haec Cornucopiae.... Aldus and Andrea Torresani, 1513. Folio. Double column, italic type. Aldine device on title, at end of one of the sections, and on final leaf (otherwise blank). Period quarter pigskin over wooden boards, metal clasps. Title dust-soiled and with an ownership inscription partially excised, a few gatherings toned and some marginal dampstain, old repairs to binding.
2. ARLENIUS, ARNOLDUS PERAXYLUS. Lexicon Graecolatinum. Alessandri Brucioli & brothers, 1546. 2 parts in 1 volume. Double column, Greek and roman types. Printer's device on title and at end, decorative initials. Second part is entitled Farrago libellorum. Old vellum boards, covers re-using a 14th century manuscript, 16th century printed endpapers. Intermittent dampstain, some foxing, f.f.e. detached, covers worn.
3. CALEPINUS, AMBROSIUS. Dictionarium in quo restituendo.... Aldus, 1559. Folio. Double column, roman and italic type. Aldine device on title and final leaf. 18th century calf, spine gilt. Title page repaired at edges and a little spotted, few instances dampstain, rebacked with original spine laid down.
