Folio (295 x 205 mm). 2A6 a-d8 e6 f-g8 h6 i-k8 l6 m-n8 o-z6/8 A-C6/8 D-E6 F8 G-H6 I8 K-L6 M8 N6 O8 P6 Q8 R-S6 T8 U6 X8 Y6. Double column. First page of Prologue rubricated and with initial supplied in manuscript. Period Augsburg binding of blindstamped calf. Numerous wormholes at ends and to covers, o1 with tear near gutter almost reaching text, upper joint and spine ends restored, rubbed, lacking hasps and clasps.
Provenance: Augustinian Monastery of Munich (early ownership inscription on title).

Reuchlin's Latin dictionary, which opened the way for German humanism and the revival of Latin studies, in an Augsburg binding using the Jagd-Rolle tool of Kriss shop 88. The Vocabularius is accompanied, as usual, by Guarinus of Venice's tract of diphthongs, Johannes de Lapide's study of punctuation, and an anonymous work on accents. Not in Adams.
