Fabrica linguae Arabicae cum interpretatione Latine, & Italica. Rome: Sac. Congreg. de Prop. Fide., 1639. 1 volume bound in 2. Folio (318 x 218 mm). [36], 544; 545-1082, [118] pp. Text in double columns, the Arabic parallel to Italian and Latin. Period vellum, spines lettered in manuscript. Some browning, lacks final blank, small hole to blank area of title and to final leaf with loss of a couple letters, shelf number written on preface, vellum darkened and well-worn at edges.
Provenance: B. Blomfield (early ownership inscriptions to front pastedowns); Historical Society of York County (bookplate); C.J. Wood (bookplate).

FIRST EDITION of this Italian-Latin-Arabic dictionary. Includes a full-page woodcut table of Arabic etymology.
