Diccionario español latino-arabigo.... Madrid: printed by Antonio Sancha, 1787.
3 volumes. Folio (354 x 244 mm). [8], xxxv, [3], [2 errata], 593; [4], 554, [1 errata]; [6], 632, [1 errata] pp. Half-titles and errata sheets to each volume. 4 large engraved headpieces by Fernando Selma after Josef Camarón; few decorative initials. Double column, roman, italic and Arabic type. Period full sheep, spines gilt, red and green morocco lettering- and numbering-pieces. Minor light spotting and ends and very intermittently, first 8 leaves of vol 3 with dampstain to top margin, some rubbing and scraping to bindings, label removed from spine of vol 1.

FIRST EDITION. Intended for the use of missionaries in Africa and the Middle East, this is an early dictionary to focus on colloquial rather than classical Arabic.
