Commentaria epistolarum conficiendarum. Strasbourg: Johann Grüninger, 28 February, 1506.
4to (198 x 133 mm). A-B6 C8 D-F6 G4 H-L6 M8 N-O6 P-Q8 R4 S-T6 V4 X6 Y4 Z8 a4 b-d8 e4 f-g8 h4 i6. Gothic letter. 19th-century half-morocco, marbled boards and endpapers. A few repaired marginal wormholes (not affecting text), leaves f2 & f7 misbound, a few headlines shaved, otherwise fine.

Augmented second edition of Bebel's handbook on letter-writing and Latin style, expanded from the 1503 edition to include several interesting lexicographical texts, including a glossary of commonly misused Latin words, a list of terms denoting professions, and a glossary of various diseases. Only one copy of this (or any other) edition appears in ABPC. Not in Adams.
