Provenance: Konstantin Vasilievich Mochulsky [1892-1948] (printed on the back of half title).

FIRST EDITION of the second and most important of the poet's three early books, containing many of the great works of his maturity. A futurist vision of Roman ruins adorns the book's upper cover. This copy bears a printed ownership statement of Mochulsky who later in life became a distinguished émigré literary critic and author of an important biography of Dostoevsky. RARE.
