A rare four-case saya inro

The inro and manju-netsuke by Shinryusai, 19th century
The outer saya of roiro, pierced with broken shippo and tied takaramono, with gold lacquer tassels, revealing the four-case black ishime inro within, with two panels, lacquered in gold and inlaid with a Chinese musician playing a chin beside a stream, and a crane flying overhead, the reverse with a formal bird and flower design, details are of inlaid aogai and the interior is of matt gold lacquer, signed Shinryusai; with a gold lacquer manju, with a design of crane origami over pine branches, signed Shinryusai; and grey lacquer ojime lacquered with sprays of kiku in gold takamakie, unsigned. 6.7cm (2 5/8in).
