The roiro ground with a sprinking of hirame flakes, lacquered with a bold design of a flowering cherry tree which continues over the top and reverse in gold takamakie, inscribed Hoitsu no hitsu with pot seal Bunsen, the interior of red lacquer with kinji edges, signed Shoryusai Kogyoku. 8.2cm (3¼in).
