Lacquered with two tigers beside a stream, the reverse with an old pine tree, all in gold takamakie, the tigers' eyes inlaid and other details of kirikane and togidashi, the interior of gold and black lacquer, decorated with an asa-no-ha design, signed Kanko with red seal Miya; with gold lacquer ojime decorated with sprays of gingko in gold hiramakie, unsigned. 8.2cm (3¼in).
