A mura-nashiji lacquer four-case inro

By Dodomasa (or Momomasa), 19th century
Lacquered on the variously-toned mura-nashiji ground with two horses, one standing with its head raised, the other with lowered head in gold takamakie, the interior of nashiji, signed Dodo (Momo) with red seal Shimizu. 8.2cm (3¼in).
