Lacquered with a red-berried nanten plant, in gold and slightly-coloured takamakie with slight kirikane highlights, the interior of nashiji, signed Toyo saku; with a gold lacquer hako-netsuke of oval form, lacquered in gold takamakie with a cicada on a pine branch, unsigned. 8.5cm (3 3/8in).
