Of wide form, bearing a matt kinji ground and lacquered with a continuous design of five cranes flying past the full moon, in gold, silver and slight-coloured takamakie, the moon of dark usu-nashiji, amid clouds of kirikane, the interior of nashiji, signed Koami Choko; with porcelain ojime, painted with a scrolling design in Kinrande style, signed Eiraku. 7.9cm (3 1/8in), wide.
