Of oval form, lacquered all over in the shape of a fishing net filled with a variety of shellfish, including sazae (turban shell), shijimi (corbicula), hamaguri (clam), awabi (alabone), asari (short-neck clam) and hotate (scallop), decorated in gold and coloured takamakie with highlights of inlaid aogai, the interior of nashiji, unsigned. 6.3cm (2½in).
