A stag-antler kiseruzutsu

Asakusa style, late 19th century
Of senryu-zutsu form, carved with a simple design of three seals, reading Raku, Ren and Koku, the cord attachment carved in the shape of entwined leather bands. 21cm (8¼in)

The three seals were probably a collaboration between three carvers from Tokyo: Rakuyu, Ishikawa Rensai and Ozaki Kokusai.
