Top register with four lines of Devanagri, numbered '25' and '26'

Opaque watercolor and gold on paper: a prince and his maiden caressing on a bed as the attendant leaves through a door on the right. The scene is set against a striking mauve wall within a open pavilion with two turrets above. Image: 7 3/8 x 6 5/8 in. (18.7 x 16.8 cm.); Folio: 10 3/4 x 9 in. (27.3 x 22.9 cm.)
