Dutch Colonial, Sri Lanka or Java, 19th century
One with applied bud-form bosses and finely incised foliate designs, overhanging partially gadrooned edges to lid and base. The other with raised and applied animal motifs around a central floral cartouche. Together with a burled hardwood and silver pan box with applied silver cartouche inscription plate, shaped spandrels and foliate lock plate. (3) 7 1/2, 6 1/2, 7 in. (19, 16.5, 17.8 cm.) wide
