A group of William Marshall Blacula memorabilia
American International Pictures, 1972. Including a one-sheet poster; two lobby cards; two certificates from the Count Dracula Society; 27 stills from the film; a 1980 Fan Favorite nomination certificate from the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror Films; three Polaroids of Marshall in character as Blacula; an exhibitor's guide; and a Blacula promotional "Vampire Protection Kit." Marshall played the role of the title character, an African prince who is bitten by Count Dracula and locked inside a coffin at his castle for 200 years. Blacula inspired a number of other blaxploitation horror movies, including its sequel, Scream Blacula Scream (1973) and Abby (1974), both of which also starred Marshall.
